Position Overview
We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to integrate into a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding care. Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the process by elucidating each procedure with clarity and compassion
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of top-quality diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
- Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
Certifications Required
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
