We're a product team building a real-time AI companion app with conversational characters. Users spend whole sessions looking at these faces up close while they speak, so deformation and expression quality matter more here than in most character work. We're building a stylized cast for launch and need an artist to take characters from our concept art to rigged, animation-ready delivery.

The work

We supply concept art. You build a fully rigged CC5 character that matches it and drops cleanly into our library — morph sliders, facial profile, conforming clothing, custom hair and wardrobe, packaged with the CC Packager. Characters are built from the Reallusion Toon Neutral F or M base; no other base, no scratch-built meshes, no third-party rigs.

This is per-character contract work. We assign one character, agree a fee and a delivery date up front, and pay on accepted delivery. If the first one goes well there are more to follow, but each is quoted and contracted on its own.

You should be comfortable with

• Character Creator 5 and iClone — Proportion Editor, morph sliders, ActorMIXER, facial profiles
• Headshot 3, GoZ Plus, and ZBrush or Blender via Data Link
• Building conforming clothing and hair as proper CC assets with transferred weights
• Delivering for real-time engines, not offline render — you know what a tri budget and a material slot cost
• Working to a written spec and a fixed delivery date

How we work

There's a written delivery spec covering file formats, budgets, facial requirements and an acceptance checklist. You'll get it before you quote, so you're pricing against something concrete. Reviews happen at agreed milestones rather than only at the end, so nobody discovers a problem four weeks in.
