Manufacturing EngineerPark City, KS 67219Job Description1st shift CATIA, Vericut, Microsoft Office, Epicor preferred, GD&T, and knowledge of outside processing requirements. Purpose: To develop, document and prove out a manufacturing process that will control the manufacturing and assembly of a part that meets or exceeds the customer's requirements within the allotted (budget) time. Essential Job Functions:Good personal computer skills with knowledge of MSWord, and MSExcelInterpret drawing package (blue print, parts list, etc.) for requirementsOperate ERP job processing systemCreate manufacturing and assembly planning based on customer and TS-KC requirementsParticipates in new product development meetings to review program for potential specification issuesInterpret specifications; Customer, Military, Federal, Material etc.Assist Manufacturing and Assembly during first runs ensuring proper documentation and job closure is complete and accurateHelp to develop skills of those within department, assembly and manufacturingFollow written QMS (Quality Management System) proceduresFamiliar with SPC and related methodsKnowledge of Machine Functions (G codes, M codes, Offsets, etc.)Knowledge of Assembly TechniquesOperate CAD/CATIA software for design and model evaluation applicationsDesign fixtures, jigs and gagesTroubleshoot problems and determine if machine or program errorMaintain a clean and organized working environmentOther tasks/duties/responsibilities as assignedEducation/Experience: 5 years-experience with machining in same or related shop environment (Required) Bachelor's Degree in engineering science or related degree (Other combinations of experience and education can be substituted)Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
