Respiratory Therapist (041326.1) FULL TIME Job Description Under the supervision of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Services Medical Director and department director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing and performing comprehensive cardiopulmonary procedures, services, and education in accordance with physician orders, department and hospital policies, and within the scope of care defined by regulatory agencies. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with respiratory conditions. Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, noninvasive ventilation, and oxygen therapy. Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home equipment usage. Document and report findings to the interdisciplinary team. Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Care. Registered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Montana state license in Respiratory Care. Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire.
