Job Overview
iCare Medical Transportation is seeking reliable and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join NEW our growing team. EMT's will provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care during both non emergent and emergency medical transports. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively in a variety of patient care situations. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care in accordance with state and local protocols.
• Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, nursing facilities, dialysis center, and residences.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes appropriate medical personnel.
• Operate ambulance vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic patient care report (EPCR)
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and proper stocking of ambulance and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members.
• Adhere to all NJ OEMS regulations, company SOP's and HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

• Current EMT certification in the state of New Jersey.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level).
• Ability to lift and move patients (minimum 125lbs with assistance)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills with a clear understanding of medical terminology; ability to work effectively within a team under stressful conditions.
