This position is available in our Atlanta, Charlotte and Huntsville offices. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant MEP design engineering experience and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, you will take a leadership position in designing mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, and piping. You will also mentor junior and mid-level MEP engineering professionals and support proposal efforts. Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to expand your knowledge and deepen your expertise in building systems design. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can efficiently move through various design stages, from concept planning to construction documentation.Experience and QualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university10+ years of related MEP experienceProficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIMExperience mentoring and training employeesExperience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clientsPE License required, or passage of the PE exam with licensure pendingAbility to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality workAbility and desire to learn and grow professionallyAll Pond & Company positions require participation in at least one in-person interview as part of our hiring process, and most roles also require in-person onboarding at a Pond office location; candidates should expect to meet directly with our team and should be cautious of any communication suggesting otherwise.Pond is an award-winning, full-service architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, and environmental services firm providing professional solutions to clients throughout the U.S. and globally for nearly 60 years.
