Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a prestigious, well-established law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their probate, estate planning, taxation, and real estate practice.
Pay: $17-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who has experience with real estate transactions and entity formation . The firm offers a family-oriented culture, outstanding employee retention, and a collaborative environment where you'll work closely with three attorneys and a small, dedicated team.
What You'll Do
The schedule is generally very consistent with standard office hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday . Since tax services account for a significant portion of the firm's business, all administrative staff assist during tax season.
From January through April 15th, employees will work 9 Saturdays , with most Saturdays being half-days and two full Saturdays occurring in April. Overtime is uncommon outside of these seasonal requirements.

What You'll Do
- Prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, probate filings, and related legal documents
- Form LLCs, corporations, and nonprofit entities
- Draft and review real estate documents, including:
- Lady Bird Deeds
- Warranty Deeds
- Promissory Notes
- Research legal issues related to client matters
- Maintain organized client files and documentation
- Communicate with clients and respond to general inquiries
- Assist attorneys with special projects as needed
- Support front desk and reception duties during busy seasons
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience
- Experience in estate planning, entity formation, and/or real estate law
- Knowledge of Texas filing requirements and procedures preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods
