We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Albany, GA. The ideal candidate will have payroll experience and/or strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with the ability to accurately handle confidential employee information and meet payroll deadlines.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have previous payroll experience and/or strong Microsoft Excel experience.

Applicants without payroll or Excel experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review and verify employee timekeeping records.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Enter and maintain payroll data accurately.
• Process employee deductions and payroll changes.
• Maintain confidential payroll records.
• Answer employee questions regarding pay and deductions.
• Assist with payroll reporting and audits.
• Ensure payroll processes follow company procedures and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience and/or strong Excel experience required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
