Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center. Opportunity Details Provide daily Nuclear Medicine clinical coverage, including diagnostic, general, and cardiac imaging, as well as radiopeptide therapies. Participate in the teaching and education of Radiology residents. Review and modify existing protocols and assist with developing new protocols, as needed. Counsel patients and their families regarding radiation safety in preparation for therapy. Complete assigned projects that support the Nuclear Medicine service, Radiology Department, and institution. No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM). New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain). Nuclear Cardiology certification preferred. CT interpretation certification is a plus. Wages and Benefits include Annual Base Salary: $295,276* (board eligible); $300,276* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $364,803** (board eligible) and $370,303** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
