PRST is looking for experienced CNC Machinists for a long-term opportunity in Fredericksburg, VA.  Consistent overtime available while working on high-profile projects.  

Schedule: Monday - Saturday 6PM - 6AM

Work on large scale high-profile projects

Stable shop environment

· Setup & Calibration: Prepare and configure machinery by installing necessary tools, fixtures, and raw materials.

· Programming & Operation: Input instructions, adjust settings, and run test cycles to ensure efficient production.

· Quality Assurance: Measure parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to verify dimensions against blueprints and specifications.

· Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions or errors during production.

· Safety & Documentation: Maintain a clean workspace, follow all safety protocols, and document production logs

· Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

· Math Skills: Strong working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry.

· Physical & Mechanical Aptitude: Good hand-eye coordination, mechanical inclination, and the ability to stand for long periods

Previous experience operating, coding, and maintaining CNC machinery

Programming experience is not required

Experience working with aluminum and steel

Ability to lift on average 50 lbs 

Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and otherwise maneuver throughout shift

Comfortable working night shift (day shift may be an option)
