We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend and shape metal parts accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine bending requirements.
- Set up brake press machines by installing and adjusting tools, dies, and gauges.
- Operate brake press machines to bend metal parts according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or in metal fabrication is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Knowledge of brake press machinery and tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
