Together, we’re developing intuitive, adaptive solutions that spark creativity, boost productivity, and make collaboration seamless.We create breakthrough solutions that make complex tasks feel effortless, teamwork more natural, and ideas more impactful—always with a human-centric mindset.By embedding AI advancements into every HP product and service, we’re expanding what’s possible for individuals, organisations, and the future of work.Join us as we reinvent work, so people everywhere can do their best work.About The RoleAs a Senior Platform Engineer at HP IQ, you will help build and evolve the infrastructure, tooling, and shared platform capabilities that enable our engineering teams to develop and operate reliable, secure, and scalable services across cloud and edge environments. You will work closely with application, services, AI/ML, and security teams to improve developer velocity, production readiness, reliability, and operational efficiency across a heterogeneous infrastructure footprint.What You Might DoDesign, build, and maintain shared infrastructure and platform capabilities across cloud and edge environments.Build automation and self-service tooling that improves engineering velocity and operational consistency.Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment workflows, and environment provisioning.Partner with engineering teams on production readiness, including reliability, security, observability, scalability, and recovery.Improve monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational tooling across distributed environments.Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce infrastructure complexity.Help define platform architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmaps.Participate in an on-call rotation for systems owned by the team.Essential Qualifications5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Production Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.Strong experience building and operating production systems across cloud, on-prem, or edge environments.Experience with containers, Kubernetes, networking, and distributed systems.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment automation.Experience with CI/CD and modern observability practices.Strong software development and automation skills, preferably in Python or a similar language.Strong understanding of security, reliability, and production operations.Ability to troubleshoot complex systems across application, infrastructure, network, and hardware boundaries.Preferred SkillsExperience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure.Experience operating distributed systems across cloud and edge environments.Experience with secrets management, identity, PKI, or infrastructure security.Experience with highly available systems, distributed databases, and production data infrastructure.Experience partnering with application teams to improve architecture and production readiness.Salary Range: $149,900 - $270,000Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)The salary range for this role is listed above.
