Wise Staffing Group is NOW HIRING multiple Quality Inspectors to join our client's manufacturing team in Yoder, IN! Pays $16.00 per hour!

Schedule:

5am - 3:30pm

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is a key member of the manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting and testing materials, ensuring customer specification compliance, managing defects, and documenting inspections. The ideal candidate brings a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects finished products for size, quantity, appearance, and performance against established specifications.
• Uses measurement tools and comparison templates to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Conducts visual inspections for surface defects, cosmetic issues, and workmanship problems using reference samples and defect criteria.
• Reviews blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to understand inspection requirements.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Documents inspection results in inspection reports, lot acceptance/rejection records, and certificates of conformance.
• Tag and separates non-conforming products to prevent them from moving to the next process.
• Communicates quality concerns or defective products to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintains compliance with applicable regulations and standards as established by law and company.

Qualifications:

• NO previous quality inspection experience required, warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and drug screen
• Reliable attendance required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend, reach, and move throughout work area

Work Environment:

This position works in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and may be exposed to typical warehouse conditions, including but not limited to noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment. Proper safety procedures and required personal protective equipment guidelines must be followed at all times.
