Activities Aide
Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Aide to join our team. As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our residents by planning and implementing engaging recreational activities, fostering a sense of community, and promoting social interaction. Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate activities, events, and programs that cater to the social, emotional, and physical needs of our residents
- Develop and implement activity plans that promote independence, socialization, and overall well-being
- Lead, facilitate, and participate in activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercises, and entertainment programs
- Encourage and support resident participation, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all
- Maintain accurate records of activity attendance, resident preferences, and concerns
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of resident care and services

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work every other weekend, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of activities planning and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
