Our success begins with our ability to apply our relationships, leverage technologies, and identify talent - often in combination - to an endless array of real-world customer needs Job Description Title: BI Architect (Business Objects) Location: Charlotte, NC Type: Fulltime // Permanent Interview Process: Phone and Skype Hire Start Date: ASAP End Customer: Banking domain Description Total Experience: 10+ years Relevant Experience: 7+ Years Excellent Communication skills Expertise in Business Objects and Cognos products Responsible for architecture, design, development and delivery of new reporting platforms Provides strategic technology direction in order to ensure required level of functionality and performance, and to manage risk, improve reliability; ensures compliance with architecture standards and audit requirements Ensures quality of deliverables, sets development standards in areas of code quality, test coverage, monitoring, and logging Serves as a technical expert on in-house business intelligence/reporting tool solutions Designs and develops large, complex processes Problem troubleshooting; determines alternative solutions and creates action steps to solve the problem; thinks and acts quickly and effectively in a variety of situations Works with business process owners to develop reporting requirement Researches new BI technologies/ processes and makes recommendations to improve companies bottom line Supports organizational decision-making by turning disparate data into concise and actionable information Pursues continuous improvement of data quality, standardization of data management processes, efficiency, and quality of service Develops and maintains technical specifications and end user documentation of assigned projects and analyses Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures within area of competence Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned Qualifications At least 6-8 years of Business Objects experience and working as an Architect #J-18808-Ljbffr
