Sanitation Operator

City: Morristown State: Indiana (US-IN) Country: United States (US) Requisition Number: 44667 A Day in the Life: The Sanitation Operator is responsible for housekeeping of the soybean processing plant, assisting Process Operators with their daily tasks, and operating powered industrial vehicles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works well in a team environment, has a positive attitude, and has the ambition to further develop their career with the company. Position Details: Rotating 12-hour shifts, either 10:00am 10:00pm or 10:00pm 10:00am Pay: $23.94 an hour What You’ll Be Doing: Keep all work areas buildings and grounds clean at all times Complete all paperwork in a timely manner Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near miss reporting and meetings Perform other duties as assigned Understand and communicate clearly throughout the facility Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures Minimum Qualifications: Strong communication skills Ability to work at varying heights and in confined spaces Ability to take instruction and work as a team with others Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures as required Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures Willing to work overtime and flexible hours when needed Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalen Benefits: Health Benefits Offering choices so you can enroll in medical, dental and vision plans that meet your individual needs. 401(k) Retirement Plan Investing in your future with an automatic 5% company contribution AND matching up to 4% of your contributions.
