Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist
• More than 2 years of experience
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Experience working in ICU, ER, nursery, and Med Surg floors
• Experience treating pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation in the ER
• Experience attending high risk c-sections and high risk deliveries as part of the resuscitation team
• Experience with Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, neopuff, V60 bipap, Airvo highflow oxygen units, and Ram cannula
• Experience with EPIC documentation system

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 1900-0700.
• Weekend requirement: 36 hours.
• Call requirement: no.
• Float requirement: RT floats to all areas of the hospital.
