Extrusion Operator Job Details
Schedule : 36/48 rotating schedule, every other weekend required, mandatory overtime as needed
Pay Rate : $18.60/hour
Location : Walton, KY
Overtime : Mandatory when required
Extrusion Operator Requirements/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Mechanical background required
  
• Computer experience required
  
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift (certification provided)
  
• Ability to work a 36/48 rotating schedule and every other weekend
  
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required
  
• Ability to work in steel/composite toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt
  
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  

• Operate extrusion production equipment safely and efficiently
  
• Perform material handling, stacking, and palletizing of finished products
  
• Prepare machines and equipment for die, grade, and color changes
  
• Complete breakdown and assembly of extrusion equipment
  
• Perform die setting and machine adjustments
  
• Start up and operate extrusion machines according to standard processes
  
• Monitor machine performance and ensure products meet quality specifications
  
• Enter machine and quality data into computer systems and maintain required production records
  
• Collect and prepare product samples as required
  
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  
• Communicate equipment issues and production concerns to leadership
  
• Assist in training other employees as needed
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  

• Temp-to-hire opportunity after 520 hours
