GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Trim line, Smart wash, Endress Houser and Urshel cutter systems. The position interacts routinely with all areas of production as well as materials, maintenance, and quality assurance. Routine manufacturing shifts and hours will apply .

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Manage raw material product flow through Camel and NON systems and other assigned areas
• Maintain quality of product passing through the Camel and NON systems in accordance with company established standards
• Perform and maintain operational requirements for Endress Houser and Smart Wash systems
• Perform required PM’s and select maintenance of Trim lines, Endress Houser, Smart Wash systems and Urshel cutters
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment and machinery across all production areas as needed
• Any and all other duties assigned by Supervisor

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

EXPERIENCE: Experience with 120v, 220v, and 480v. and three phases/camera imaging. Established work experience requiring involvement in manufacturing, electrical, and/or mechanical applications.

SKILLS: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, advanced computer application skills. Strong analytical, logic, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely at a fast pace, follow directions and conduct quality and safety inspections.

ADDITIONAL : Dynamic, hands-on ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, team-oriented food processing environment. Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, and interact well with others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Work is performed in an environment with an average temperature of 34 degrees F. Concentrated chlorine and concealed ammonia are present in workplace. Work surfaces and floors are wet. All employees are required to wear protective gear, including ear plugs, hair net, smocks, gloves, and protective eyewear. Must be able to work standing on a hard floor surface for entire period of shift. Constant reaching and stretching overhead is required. Bending, stooping, and repetitive hand movements may be required throughout the shift. Moving machinery, including conveyor belts and forklifts are in operation in the immediate area.  Please be aware that our workplace environment may contain or encounter common allergens, such as Milk, Peanuts, Egg, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Wheat, Soybeans, Sesame, Mustard and Sulfites.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 
Ability to work overtime as needed. Some weekends are required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent demonstrated ability to perform required tasks.
