Teledyne Relays (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) is a manufacturer of electromechanical relays, solid state relays, power controllers, RF coax switches and RF matrix switching systems. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in the United States and the company is vertically integrated with major operations in Southern California. Responsibilities Review documentation for accuracy, configuration review. Handle and test relays as defined by supervisors. Perform visual inspections of relays. Complete inspection reports, history logs, and associated paperwork. Receive general instructions on routine assignments and detailed instructions on new assignments. Undergo training on these and other functions and equipment as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred. Training will be provided; flexibility and willingness required. Basic computer skills to make daily data entries for labor hours. Must work well in a team/group environment as well as independently. Apply common sense to read, understand and interpret written test procedures to operate test equipment and conduct visual inspections. Good eye‑hand coordination/dexterity to assemble small parts (plug relays into equipment for testing). Work with small parts, use a microscope and hand tools (tweezers, pin vise) as instructed. Good oral and written communication skills to keep lead/supervisor informed of progress or issues, and for documentation. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Hourly Range $20–$28/hr Salary Range $39,000.00–$52,000.00 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
