DESCRIPTION:

Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown (High Acuity)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 Hours/Week Available
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Float Requirement: Required to sister ICCU unit as needed

Important Notes

• No Block Scheduling Allowed
• RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum 7 days (must be submitted upfront)
• No RTO allowed after booking
• Any call-offs or additional RTO requested on unit may result in contract cancellation and DNR
• Unit functions at a higher acuity level (ICU-like environment)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience in PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown units required.

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS (BCLS)
• NIH Stroke Certification
