Are you a new CDL graduate looking for truck driver training? Drive with J.B. Hunt's Apprenticeship Program and receive on-the-job training and experience with an industry leader.

Drivers in this program work with an experienced J.B. Hunt driver trainer for six weeks before transitioning to a full-time position upon successful completion.

This position is paid an hourly rate for all hours worked plus an activity-based bonus payment. The activity-based bonus payment is the sum of your eligible activity pay less your base hourly earnings for the week. Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $103,500 . 

• Hourly pay: $18 per hour
• Holiday pay: $300 per day

Activity-Based Bonus Components: 

• Driver will be paid $200 per day during the training period. Training is typically six weeks
• Cent per mile rate: $0.65-$0.69 
• Detention pay: $15 per hour
• Stop pay: $35 per stop 
• Canada stop pay: $65 per stop
• Safety training: $20 per hour 
• New hire training period: $200 per day
• Weekly home time 
• Onsite management 
• Paid online orientation

In addition to the number of activities completed, factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable.
