We are seeking an exceptional academic pediatric radiologist to take on the role of Director of Pediatric Ultrasound within our Department of Radiology. This is a remarkable opportunity for leadership aimed at enhancing a nationally recognized pediatric radiology division at one of the premier children's hospitals in the United States. The position is based on-site at our facility.

• $30,000 Sign-on Bonus
• The Director will offer strategic clinical, academic, and operational guidance for the Pediatric Ultrasound Section within the Pediatric Radiology Division, which comprises over 17 pediatric radiologists and 2 advanced practice providers.
• This role includes overseeing pediatric ultrasound services at our hospital, Magee Women's Hospital (a primary delivery facility with a Level III NICU), and various affiliated regional sites that provide pediatric imaging. The Director will focus on standardizing practices, enhancing quality and patient safety, and improving operational efficiency across the network.
• A primary objective will be to foster innovation in pediatric ultrasound, leading the development and clinical integration of new technologies such as elastography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, super-resolution imaging, and applications of artificial intelligence.
• The Director will also actively engage in the academic mission of the department by:
  • Delivering high-quality clinical care
  • Leading educational programs, including workstation teaching and didactic sessions for residents and fellows
  • Mentoring trainees and junior faculty
  • Facilitating technologist education in advanced ultrasound techniques
  • Enhancing multidisciplinary clinical collaborations
• The ideal candidate will be instrumental in promoting excellence in clinical care, innovation, and scholarship within the division.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or an equivalent medical degree
• Board certification in Radiology
• Fellowship training and/or subspecialty certification (or eligibility) in Pediatric Radiology
• Appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor , based on experience
• Proven leadership experience with a strong track record in clinical excellence, academic contributions, and teaching
