Creative Operations Contractor

Insight Global is hiring a Creative Operations Contractor will serve as the operations partner for the North America Retail Design team, helping create the structure, processes, and tools needed to drive visibility, consistency, and execution across the retail design portfolio. This individual will partner closely with the Retail Design Director and cross-functional stakeholders to establish scalable ways of working, improve project governance, and support planning across new store builds, remodels, refreshes, and other retail design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Design Operations & Process Development

Build and implement scalable operational processes across North America retail design initiatives. Document and optimize workflows from project intake through execution and delivery. Identify process gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and team effectiveness. Create and maintain playbooks, SOPs, templates, and governance frameworks. Support the development of a long-term operating model that can scale with business needs.

Portfolio & Project Management

Manage and maintain a centralized project tracker across active retail design initiatives. Create forecasting and pipeline management tools to support prioritization, capacity planning, and resource visibility. Develop project reporting dashboards and health indicators to monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones. Establish standardized intake and prioritization processes for new work requests.

Team Operations & Communication

Own team operating rhythms, meeting cadences, agendas, action items, and documentation. Maintain organized documentation repositories and ensure information is accessible across stakeholders. Drive consistency in communication, reporting, and documentation practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Retail Design, Production, Creative Operations, Architecture, Real Estate, Construction, VM, Merchandising, Operations, and Global teams to improve alignment and execution. Develop RACI frameworks and governance models that clearly define ownership, roles, decision-making, and escalation paths. Support adoption of new ways of working through documentation, training, and change management efforts.
