Job Title Occupational Therapist Location Bronx, New York Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions targeting activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive function
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of New York
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines in a SNF environment
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a skilled nursing facility setting through a 13-week contract engagement
- Work with a supportive staffing team dedicated to matching clinicians with meaningful placement opportunities
