Job Summary Intrastaff Med/Surg RNs can work at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Bayview Medical Center, or Howard County Medical Center. There are no holiday or weekend commitments for PRN at $55/hr. Contracts are also available at $60/hr. Responsibilities Facilitate and coordinate care by providing evidence‑based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System. Provide direction to and manage other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Work collaboratively with and provide leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Participate in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that support, protect, and promote areas of specialty. Implement initiatives in areas of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership. Foster a clinical environment of service excellence. Qualifications Current registered nurse license in the state of Maryland, or licensed in a compact state. Current CPR certification. 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience.
