Litigation Associate

Job DescriptionA respected law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of litigation experience to join its growing practice. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to all phases of litigation, significant client interaction, and the chance to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated civil and commercial disputes.ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters from intake through resolution under attorney supervision.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.Assist with case strategy, witness preparation, and trial preparation.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.Review and analyze records, contracts, and other case-related documents.Support trial teams through hearings, arbitrations, and trial proceedings.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active license and good standing in the applicable state bar.Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience in a law firm setting.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop as a litigator.Preferred BackgroundCommercial litigationBusiness disputesContract litigationReal estate litigationConstruction litigationEmployment litigationGeneral civil litigationWhat You'll GainDirect mentorship from experienced litigatorsMeaningful courtroom and deposition exposureOpportunity for professional growth and advancementCollaborative and supportive team environmentDiverse and challenging caseload
