Our job is to handle the details, communicate clearly, solve problems, and make sure they feel taken care of from contract to closing. What You’ll Do As an Escrow Assistant, you will help support the escrow process from the moment a contract comes in through closing and post-closing. That includes things like: Opening and maintaining escrow files Reviewing contracts and entering transaction information Ordering title work, surveys, HOA documents, payoff statements, tax information, and other required items Communicating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and vendors Gathering documents and information needed for closing Helping prepare closing documents and settlement statements Scheduling closings Tracking deadlines and outstanding items Assisting Escrow Officers with funding and post-closing responsibilities Keeping files organized, accurate, and moving forward Making sure clients and agents are not left wondering what is happening with their transaction Basically, you help keep the train on the tracks. What We’re Looking For Previous title or escrow experience is strongly preferred. We want someone who already understands the basics of the title world and can quickly become an important part of the team. You should have: Previous experience with a title company, escrow office, real estate closing operation, or similar environment Strong organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Good written and verbal communication The ability to manage multiple files and deadlines at once A willingness to pick up the phone and communicate instead of hiding behind email A customer-service mindset Comfort working in a fast-paced environment Experience with title or escrow software is a plus A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed You’ll Probably Love This Job If You: Make lists for your lists Notice when something is missing before anyone asks about it Like being busy and productive Enjoy helping other people stay organized Are comfortable talking with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers Do not panic when three people need something at the same time Like solving little problems before they become big problems Take pride in being the person your team knows they can count on Why Parker County Title Co.?
