Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
The Electrical Assembler will assemble and wire electrical control panels, machine components, and automated packaging equipment in a clean, air-conditioned shop environment. This role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings, installing and routing wiring and components, and collaborating closely with engineering and mechanical assembly teams to support complete machine builds from start to finish.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Job Description
The Electrical Assembler will assemble and wire electrical control panels, machine components, and automated packaging equipment in a clean, air-conditioned shop environment. This role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings, installing and routing wiring and components, and collaborating closely with engineering and mechanical assembly teams to support complete machine builds from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, machine components, and automated packaging equipment according to specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings to guide assembly and wiring activities.
- Install and route wiring, sensors, motors, drives, and other industrial electrical components within control panels and machinery.
- Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical terminations with accuracy and consistency.
- Verify proper electrical connections, component functionality, and system integrity during and after assembly.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify wiring issues, component failures, or assembly errors and implement effective corrections.
- Assist with machine startup, functional testing, and quality verification to ensure equipment operates as designed.
- Work closely with engineering and mechanical assembly teams throughout the machine build process to coordinate electrical and mechanical integration.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Accurately document work completed, including any modifications or changes, and report build concerns or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel building, machine building, or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience installing and routing wiring, sensors, motors, drives, and other industrial electrical components.
- Proficiency performing point-to-point wiring and electrical terminations.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and other electrical assembly tools.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical components and industrial control panels.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to support mechanical assembly and machine building activities.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical issues in industrial equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety procedures.
- Experience working with pneumatics in conjunction with electrical systems.
- Experience in conduit layout and installation for industrial equipment.
- Mechanical assembly or machine building experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.
- Exposure to welding or basic fabrication processes used in machine builds.
- Familiarity with automated packaging equipment or similar industrial machinery.
- Comfort working closely with engineering teams to interpret design intent and implement changes during the build process.
