Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech sought for a travel assignment in a hospital-setting imaging department in Batesville, AR. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay: $2,506–$2,680. Shift: 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring active credentials and experience in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound studies per physician orders, including echocardiography with Definity contrast when indicated, and comprehensive vascular assessments.
- Complete studies efficiently while managing downtime to assist colleagues; ensure exam charges and daily lists are checked.
- Organize workload during high volume, communicate pending exams and pertinent findings to technologists and clinicians; assist physicians during radiology procedures as needed.
- Maintain equipment care and safety: proper cleaning, surface disinfection between patients, and routine instrument maintenance; monitor inventory and supplies.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, dress code, and attendance policies; participate in required in-services and department meetings; respond to on-call requirements as specified (arrive within 30 minutes when reported).
- Document findings in the MediTech EMR and support other radiology procedures as needed.

Requirements
- Active ARDMS certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2+ years of ultrasound experience, with demonstrated Echo and Vascular proficiency
- Proficient in Echocardiograms with Definity contrast; able to perform TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous Dopplers, carotid Doppler, arterial Doppler, ABI, vein mapping, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections
- Able to start IV access
- MediTech EMR experience
- Permanent address outside 90 miles of Batesville; applicants within 90 miles will not be reviewed (90–150 miles may be considered but not guaranteed)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (within the last two years)
