Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Reserve at River's Edge Description Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the residential apartments and supporting facilities to achieve the highest level of resident satisfaction and retention. This position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions in order to execute repairs, installations, and overall maintenance of projects on an assigned property. Residential maintenance repair and service includes general cleanup of the apartment community, apartment turns as assigned, upkeep of grounds and parking lot, general work orders for residents, painting and repair of apartments for turns, and various maintenance tasks using hand tools and small power tools. Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating, and air handling systems is a plus. The candidate must be service oriented and perform tasks in a professional, orderly, and timely manner while following safety regulations and all MMG policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the residential apartments and supporting facilities to achieve high resident satisfaction and retention, following detailed instructions to execute repairs, installations, and overall maintenance on assigned properties. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School or GED One year of prior related experience preferred but not required. Trade school training a plus. Must have reliable transportation.
