We are a high-volume orthopedic practice seeking a customer service-oriented Chart Preparation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing patient charts on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Answering high-volume incoming phone calls with professionalism and excellent customer service
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
• Initiating and tracking prior authorizations
• Assisting with other administrative and front office duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Medical office experience is strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard office software is a plus
