Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Actuary to lead actuarial and multidisciplinary consulting projects for a diverse range of clients, including insurance companies, self-insured organizations, program managers, and Insurtech firms. This role provides an opportunity to deliver strategic, data-driven solutions across areas such as rate level indications, class plan analyses, reserve analyses, product development, and other actuarial consulting initiatives.

The position offers flexible remote or hybrid work options within select U.S. locations.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage actuarial consulting projects, including rate level indications, class plan analyses, reserve analyses, and product development.
• Perform peer reviews of analyses completed by other actuarial professionals.
• Organize and present competitive and market information in a clear and meaningful format.
• Prepare supporting exhibits for rate and rule filings, including explanatory language and responses to regulatory inquiries.
• Analyze data and recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives based on project findings.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding project objectives, methodologies, findings, and results.
• Prepare polished, professional reports presenting actuarial findings and recommendations.
• Develop proposals tailored to client needs and project requirements.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and advancements in actuarial methodologies.
• Manage project-related invoicing and administrative responsibilities.
• Work independently while providing oversight and guidance to other actuarial professionals as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of actuarial experience within the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• ACAS or FCAS designation required.
• Commercial Lines experience and/or expertise in Workers' Compensation or Medical Malpractice preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant analytical and business software.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and oversee the work of other actuarial professionals.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality deliverables.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 annually
