Travel Nurse RN - Post Partum - $2,350 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington.

• General Information:
  • Beds: 23
  • Minimum years of experience: 1 year of Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience and at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
• Patient Types:
  • Post partum and low risk ante-partum.
• Patient Ratios:
  • 1:3-4 Antepartum or couplets
• Required Licensure & Certifications:
  • BLS & NRP, EFM preferred
• Skills required:
  • Breastfeeding assistance
  • Newborn care, including vital signs, thermoregulation, managing hypoglycemia, bilirubin levels, and NAS (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome) babies. Newborn lab and phlebotomy skills and IV skills (adult) are preferred, as well as experience with PKU testing.
  • Ability to independently care for 3-4 couplets, provide discharge teaching, vaccinate neonates, and perform thorough assessments and reassessments for both mothers and babies. Must also be able to perform fundal checks on postpartum patients.
