staff - Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $31-43 per hour

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Hamtramck, Michigan. Shift & Compensation 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour on a staff schedule Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus, based on relevant experience Responsibilities Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers. Delegates, assesses, provides, and evaluates patient care. Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members. Monitors patient progress and prepares patients for discharge. Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities. Manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families, applying independent judgment and collaborating with all team members, including ancillary and support services. Leads, partners, collaborates, teaches, and supervises as part of the DMC RN role. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required). BSN preferred. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan (required). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
