SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Assists Executive Chef by preparing food, supervising cooks, and managing kitchen operations when Executive Chef is absent. Location & Schedule 700 Bellevue Way, Bellevue, WA 98004. Full‑time, Monday through Friday, morning shift. Pay $30.00–$33.00 per hour. Qualifications Previous cooking and leadership experience preferred. Willing to be trained if necessary. Essential Duties Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards. Ensure deadlines are met based on production orders. Supervise hourly food service associates (interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews). Store food in designated areas following food safety and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance. Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, utensils; clean workstation before leaving area; keep displays free of debris. Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner. Understand menu items and explain them accurately to associates and customers. Maintain peak production and service hours. Monitor inventory and deliveries; track production, consumption, waste; notify supervisor of low supplies. Perform other duties as assigned.
