Role Description The Caregiver role is a part-time, on-site position based in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this role, the Caregiver provides direct support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping to help clients remain safe and comfortable at home. The Caregiver assists with meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and transportation to appointments or errands as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring client well-being, documenting observations, and communicating changes in condition to care managers or supervisors. The Caregiver also offers companionship, engages clients in meaningful activities, and follows individualized care plans to support independence, dignity, and quality of life. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to provide respectful, person-centered care, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, and basic household tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building trust with clients and families, and for accurately reporting observations to the care team. Dependable, organized, and able to follow individualized care plans while maintaining client safety and confidentiality. Experience in home care, caregiving, or a related healthcare or social services setting is highly beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (such as CNA, HHA, or personal care aide) are a plus. Ability to work part-time on-site in Fort Walton Beach, FL, including potential evenings or weekends based on client needs. Current CPR/First Aid certification and reliable transportation are preferred.
