Make a meaningful impact supporting students across K-12th grade for a full school year in a dynamic school-based setting near Palo Alto, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), helping students develop their communication skills and reach their fullest potential in an educational environment. Your expertise will be highly valued as you collaborate with educators, families, and fellow support professionals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions for students K-12
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and strategies for success
- Offer consultative support to classroom staff to facilitate language development and communication access
