Yard Laborer/ Forklift Operator ($18.00- $20.00/hr)We are seeking a full-time yard laborer which involves ensuring that all items are properly received, shipped, and stored. The main job task is running a forklift to move, receive, dispose, and store products. Successful candidates will be alert, detail oriented, able to follow instructions and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Requirements High school diploma or GEDAbility to operate forkliftLoading & unloading trucksTime management & prioritizing tasksAble to lift minimum of 75 lbs.Self- motivatedOrganizational skillsBasic Reading ComprehensionCommunication skills (bilingual helpful)ResponsibilitiesCoordinating the safety, quality, maintenance, and movement of our products in the yardProperly assist co-workers with daily dutiesReading, identifying, and correctly loading/unloading our customer orders on our trucks for incoming/outgoing deliveriesAssist in inventory cycle countsMaintain an organize inventory on grounds area and inside garageCollaborate and communicate with other departments to determine the most effective methods of operations, and safety.Communicating with customers and front office regarding orders & inventoryUnload incoming inventory from any manufacturer delivery truckPeople are our most valuable assets, and we strive to have a safe, friendly, drug/alcohol free, OSHA compliant workplace where you can settle in for a long prosperous career.
