Position: PLC Production Technician
Location: Stone Mountain, Georgia
Schedule: Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat OR Wed–Sat; 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $42.00/hr
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are hiring a Production Technician for a client in Stone Mountain, GA. This is a hands-on production floor role focused on assembling control panels and electrical equipment to client specifications. The right candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable reading electrical schematics, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble control panels and equipment to meet client and product specifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• Use hand and power tools as required

• Conduct pre-testing quality control and testing of completed systems

• Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow direction from managers, team leads, and Level 3 Technicians

• Wear proper PPE and adhere to all safety protocols

• Perform other duties as assigned

Must Haves

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, mechanical repair, or related field

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Ability to pass additional background screening if applicable

Preferred Skills

• Background in electrical/control systems

• PLC experience

• OSHA 10 certification

• CPR certification
