Details Critical access hospital Emergency Department open 24/7, serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage required if needed 13-week assignment length Block scheduling not available for this assignment Requirements Active VT RN license or compact license required (compact not accepted per facility policy) Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting required 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC Skills checklist for Emergency Department current within 1 year required One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required Must have own vehicle for this assignment All certifications must be in hand at time of consideration Additional Information Screen and triage patients to determine severity of condition and appropriate course of treatment Work within a fully staffed Emergency Department team Travelers may not request all holidays off Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, with fewer days preferred Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment Candidates seeking to work this assignment concurrently with another permanent position or travel assignment will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-771827.
