Patient Services Associate

Job Title: Patient Services Associate Salary: $19.56 per hour Location: Dallas, Texas. On‑site. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, combined with experience. Two years of related experience in a general office setting. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications, standard office protocol, and multi‑line phone system. Preferred: more than two years of related experience, cashier experience, bilingual Spanish/English, and some college credit hours. Responsibilities Provide customer service to patients, including scheduling appointments and check‑in. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; obtain referrals and authorizations as required. Collect payments for services, document payments in electronic medical records, balance accounts, and create reports. Assist the Clinic Coordinator with entering treatment codes, processing patient refunds, and handling PHI. Maintain patient records and statistics in accordance with established procedures.
