Contract Details

Location: Huntington, WV

Setting: Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Facility

Contract Length: 3–6 Months

Schedule: Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights)

Hours: Full-Time with Overtime Available (up to 20 hours as needed)

Pay Rate: $49.00 per hour

Employment Type: Contract

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Requirements

Active and unrestricted West Virginia RN license

Current BLS certification required

NIHSS certification required

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (psych or behavioral health experience a plus)

Ability to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights)

Ability to work overtime as needed

Ability to pass background screening, drug screening, and WV Cares clearance

APS/CPS clearance required

COVID vaccination or approved exemption required

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting

Administer medications and monitor patient response

Assess and monitor mental health conditions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

Ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment

Respond to behavioral and medical emergencies
