Driver Job DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified driver to deliver baked goods to our various Dunkin' locations within Vermont and New York. A good job candidate must be an experienced driver with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. The driver candidate should have no previous traffic violations and follow general safety, traffic regulations and plan best routes to deliver goods on schedule. They also must properly maintain the vehicle on a daily basis to keep it clean, comfortable, and safe. This is an overnight driving position with shifts from 10PM-7AM.Main Responsibilities of a Driver with Donuts of RutlandDrive overnight on scheduled routeDeliver product in a safe and timely mannerKeeping the vehicle clean and safePlanning routes based on road and traffic conditionsPicking up goods at the production facility daily for driving routesStaying up-to-date with weather and road conditionsAdjusting routes based on road, traffic, and weather conditionsConducting daily vehicle maintenance checksImmediately reporting any potential vehicle issuesExcellent driving backgroundOther duties as assignedDriver Job RequirementsA valid driver's licenseMedical DOT or CDLA clean driving recordDriving experienceFamiliarity with GPS devices and navigation appsCoordinate on-site delivery of baked goodsStrong communication skillsProfessional, friendly, and polite dispositionIn 1950, Bill Rosenberg opened the first Dunkin' shop in Quincy, Massachusetts, and the first of many franchises was licensed in 1955.
