The Team You Will Be Joining This organization provides at-risk youth with tailored mentorship, mental health support, and educational programs designed to replace legal challenges with meaningful opportunities for healing and long-term success. Major Duties Conduct in-depth analysis of compensation structures, including comp‑ratio, internal equity, and compression trends. Evaluate alignment between current pay practices and market benchmarks. Partner with HR leadership to identify compensation gaps and prioritize initiatives. Perform position analyses, including desk audits and questionnaire reviews. Recommend job classifications, reclassifications, and organizational alignment improvements. Support development and refinement of job descriptions and classification frameworks. Analyze compensation data to ensure consistency and equity across departments. Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings. Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs and organizational structure. Review compensation policies and processes, recommending improvements aligned with public sector standards. Deliver a clear, actionable roadmap to guide compensation decisions ahead of the fiscal year. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in compensation, classification, or related HR analytical work. Experience conducting job analysis, market pricing, and compensation evaluations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience in county, municipal, or public sector environments. Background in compensation structure design, internal equity analysis, and classification systems. Familiarity with FLSA, Equal Pay Act, and related regulations. Certifications such as CCP, PHR/SPHR, or SHRM‑CP/SCP.
