Job Title: Reliability Engineer Location: Platteville, Colorado Type: 9 month Contract Compensation: $65.00 - $68.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for capital project execution at the Fort St. Vrain power plant, including design reviews, maintaining design basis accountability, and technical oversight for projects.
• Support the development and review of P&IDs, perform design assessments, and collaborate with operations, project managers, and contractors throughout project lifecycles.
• Participate in design, modeling, testing, and evaluation of power plant equipment, ensuring safety and reliability standards are met.
• Assist in root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements to maintain quality and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to plant safety protocols, including awareness of confined spaces, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in power plant, plant engineering, reliability engineering, or industrial facilities
• Experience with fossil power plants, power generation, and power plant operations
• Experience in technical design reviews and P&ID review
• Familiarity with simple-cycle combustion turbine projects is preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
