Responsibilities

• Install and terminate fiber optic cabling
• Perform fusion splicing
• Test fiber using OTDR and power meter equipment
• Install patch panels, racks, and cable pathways
• Read blueprints and follow project specifications
• Troubleshoot fiber systems
• Support commercial construction projects from rough-in through completion

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fiber optic experience
• Experience with fusion splicing preferred
• Commercial construction or structured cabling background
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in active construction environments
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
