Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) for Infusion Therapy will provide specialized nursing care in an outpatient setting focused on hematology and oncology. The RN will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, as well as managing infusion therapy protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapy and chemotherapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients for reactions and manage any adverse side effects.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the Epic documentation system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in hematology/oncology.
• Must be BLS certified and chemotherapy/biotherapy certified.
• Experience with Epic from within the past 2 years is required.
• Outpatient clinic experience in an infusion/oncology setting is necessary.
