We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician. This position is responsible for the setup and minor/major repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment within the facility. Quality of assembly is a top concern to ensure that the correct components are used by following samples, orders, and other documents to meet product specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and analyze complex Electrical and Mechanical equipment failures.
- Dismantle, repair, and assemble complex Electrical and Mechanical equipment components
- Learn and operate production equipment to understand the process
- Support of plant manufacturing equipment and projects
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance as required
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings for equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix robotic failures
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards and the 6S program
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace any equipment components
- Responsible for training as assigned
- Must follow all company policies and procedures
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintenance repair
- High School/GED required, Associates Degree preferred
- Advance knowledge and work experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages, and fixtures
- Experience in troubleshooting and fixing PLC programs
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix robotic failures
- Power truck experience a plus
- Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines
- Advanced computer skills, (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude
- Must have a verifiable electronic background
