Job Description Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Eastern PA
A well-established, family-owned construction, waste, and recycling company with decades of industry leadership is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for an immediate hire.
Position Overview
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trash trucks, and heavy equipment , ensuring fleet reliability and safe operations.

Position Overview
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trash trucks, and heavy equipment , ensuring fleet reliability and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on trash trucks and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls as needed
- Assist other technicians with project work and complex repairs
- 3 years hands-on experience with trash trucks and diesel engines.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
